Chloe is embarrassed
I tugged back the thermal drape to see if it was raining as the weather service stated (it's not).
Chloe assumed this action was because there was an intruder upon our domestic tranquillity and flew into a flurry of warning barks.
She looked left and right several times and the barking lost conviction. She sat down and when I looked at her, her ears drooped to half-mast and she lowered her head.
"You're silly," I told her. She knew she was.
After fifteen seconds or so she gave a grouchy chuff. "There COULD have been an intruder!"
