Okay , but let's talk about the important stuff 🐢🐢🐢🐢🐢
The vet said I need to keep the baby tortoises separate in a few months from now because these are aggressive competitors, prefer being alone and don't get along well.
And that males can mature before females and it's bad because then the male would try to reproduce and she is too small to be bearing an egg. 🥚
But we noticed these baby tortoises are able to communicate and get along and also conspire against me. Whenever I pick them up from the garden and put them in a box or a basket indoors together for a while, they move to the same corner and try to climb outside. It is always the female on top of the male climbing out. I guess this is why people say you shouldn't generalize and stereotype males as aggressive. 🐢
Look how tiny they are and again he is being a gentleman.

@GLITTER i bought them for my nephew from someone while I was in the sahara. I figured they would have better life in this area because I do see big tortoises every now and then from the forest.
The vet said they will be better here but it got nothing to do with having other tortoises around because these are loners. Most of them will die without water and enough food in the south.
