There’s just something about this that doesn’t sit right with me

I don’t think it’s funny either, at all. It’s actually really sad

Dogs are animals that belong outside. Animals have fur to protect them against the elements. That’s some fur sheds for animals in certain climates. It’s natural for dogs to be outside. It isn’t natural for animals to be domesticated and kept inside

The fact that this asshole would build a small house for his dogs and have the audacity to brag about it on Facebook when there are people who are homeless.

not even for doing drugs, or being an alcoholic. homeless because of poverty, or mental illness, disability, or even domestic violence. Hell I personally know people in Florida who are now homeless because of the housing crisis.

Some close friends of mine had to travel for work because their leases went up on their places they were staying at and it’s too unaffordable to buy a house for the average person and it’s near to impossible to rent anywhere. People traveling and on the road because they’re homeless

But yeah sick house for your domesticated animals bro 🤙

I love this!!! Wish we could afford to do this for hubs’ hunting dogs.
@Pinkstarburst If each kennel had an individual run it would be the ideal set up for them. Shelter and room to run. A friend of ours trains labs and has this. It’s amazing.

everyone is free to spend their allowances how they please. i just dont understand why animals being inside is ideal. or why they just cant go outside like nature intended.
@DeluxedEdition Some breeds aren’t adapted to outside living. Some people don’t have yards. I know many folks that utilize dog parks for this reason or are active with them in other ways. Mine is both an inside and outside dog. He actually prefers to be outside when the weather is cool, but he loves to be in at night as a member of the family.

There’s a huge difference between owning a dog and having a pet. I agree that some people can go crazy when it comes to the things they spend on their companion and I have to pull back the reins myself sometimes. When you love them and they are a part of your family it’s easy to forget their needs are fairly simple.
