Or it could have been a snake. ☺️

@Stereoguy I believe it was in Florida, could be wrong. It was clogging the plumbing, yikes.

@Stereoguy they need to keep doing that. One snake can have 100 babies at a time.

@Stereoguy they eat alligators when they get that big if the alligators don’t eat them.

@Stereoguy I wouldn’t be traipsing around anywhere in Florid without one. A little pew pew might save your life.

@Stereoguy the sound a gun makes when you shoot it. But one of my parakeets would say “Chit-Chit” to imitate a gun sound….he’d say “You don’t live here…Chit! Chit” after we watched a Charles Bronson movie one evening where Bronson is running the hoodlums out of his neighborhood that are taking over.

@Stereoguy That was Baby. He was a very smart little parakeet. And funny too. Boo-Boo reminds me of him but Baby tried to act tougher.

@Stereoguy We had a parakeet on the farm. Then got another one when I was a teenager. I got two parakeets after I was married. Got a couple for my daughter when she was young. (After the last one died we got a cat). My cat died right after moving to this house. About a year later I bought 4 parakeets at a yard sale in a nice tall cage on a stand, paid $45 for everything. (I wasn’t looking for parakeets when I went to garage sales but they were exactly what I wanted when i saw them) Those parakeets started talking and saying “Parakeet” within a week and many other words, phrases and questions as the years passed. Then two of them had Baby and another one that died young. All but Baby and his mother, Blondie, died and I just had those two and they talked a great deal. Blondie loved to watch me in the kitchen and ask me what I was cooking, what I was eating, what I was drinking, and what I was doing. They died and I bought two more from a woman who put an ad in the newspaper. Then my neighbor brought over two more that his friend gave him when he was moving. I also got 4 canaries (a woman who lives about a mile away was breeding them and sold them for very little compared to what stores sell them for). Then I bought Kiwi to have for a mate to Mike and they had 22 babies. I still have Kiwi, 3 of her babies, and Ike, who was Mike’s brother. Ike’s mate died a few years ago. And two of my canaries also died about 2 years ago. Surprised that these other two are still alive because they’ve outlived the average lifespan of canaries so far.

@Stereoguy I forgot to add the one I caught in the dorm areas at work. I was eating lunch and my lead came into the office and told me since she knew I liked birds there was a yellow one outside near the building. It was sitting on a crepe myrtle shrub next to the building. Took me 5 minutes to catch it with my hands.

@Stereoguy My grandmother’s family were in the Bird Clan (also known as the Red Hawk Clan), Cherokees have 7 clans.

@Stereoguy I caught a wild crow when I was a teenager, fed him cornbread and we were best friends until he paired up with a mate and left in October. He used to fly down to the mailbox and wait on it till I drove home from work and fly alongside my car up the long driveway. I’d feed him. He’d wait outside the house for me to go to work in the morning and fly alongside again and watch me get on the main road. I also had a bluejay that would eat out of my hand, fed it watermelon at the picnic table.
