Should we cull individuals of species with proven self awareness that also display sadism or abuse like this elephant?

the mothers usually keep the babies away from males
they form breeding herds/very loving and protecting of calves
and the males stay away unless it is mating time
sometimes we get up too close and annoy animals and their behaviour change
