When travelling, what is one thing that made you grateful

for your own homeland?

For me now, it's how shitty the conditions and treatment of animals is here compared. Especially with doggos, cats and horses...

I always get homesick quick.
For everything I guess, despite the downsides.

@SW-User I'd say that was a good thing then. Travelling is great for building your character and spirit, but already knowing where you'd like your home to be, is certainly an advantage as well:

@Axelerator True. I like to travel but I don't stay there too long. Balance is good.

@SW-User sounds like a good way to go for you then

@SW-User I see.. Where would you prefer to live if you could then?

@SW-User hmm, I know the feeling of giving up on enjoying life but there are things worth doing still. Whatever it may be for you, maybe it's painting oil paintings, maybe it's sailing, maybe it's going to Kashmir to be a mountain goat herder, you never know.
Sounds silly perhaps, but I mean that there may still be things that you personally want to do, however big or small:)
Manners. I now live in the USA. I discussed this with my coworker from the Ukraine. American customers are very entitled and mean. In our home countries, the business shakes YOU down. You can’t shop and expect us to cater to you and with a terrible attitude on top of it. You’ll literally get kicked to the curb in Poland.
