I like to imagine that he's dreaming about being in an old western shootout and he gets hit in his little puppy chest. 🐶. _______________________🔫🤠

My dog used to do the same thing -laying on his side and «running» in his sleep

@Jenny1234 It reminded me of the first time we took Clancy for a walk. We got him in January and it was a rough winter. He just used the backyard.
One day Tim said, "It's time to civilize him," and put a collar and a leash on him.
Clancy was stunned. Had he not always done as bidden? Why did we need to shackle him?
He performed a splendid act of civil disobedience. He stretched out on his side, trying to rub the collar off when he had a chance, and pushed himself along on his side, crying piteously. He followed but he would NOT be walked!
We finally carried him home before somebody called Animal Protection.
Eventually he trained nicely and was very well-mannered.
