I saved a squirrel from a cat, today.

There was a squirrel crossing the street, looking happy with a big old acorn in its mouth. Then I noticed a cat slowly stalking behind it. It started crossing the street after Mr. Squirrel and I could tell that it was about to chase. The squirrel was just walking like it had no idea it was in danger.

So I hopped down from the loading doors and purposely made a "thud" sound so they would notice me. The squirrel just kept calmly walking but the cat stopped and stared at me. I walked between the two of them (they were roughly 15ft apart) and the cat, after staring at me for a good several seconds, turned around and scurried off. The squirrel never seemed to notice any of this. 😆 But he got away safely.
