I Am Agnostic

I don't believe in religion. But in a being that controls the universe. I believe it has no form. Just an all knowing power that connects everything around you. It works only with positive power. No prayer, no hymns, no rituals, no sacrifices except when you take willingly for your loved ones. The only law that power has to love. Love one and all. This is my concept of a true God.

Hi my friend, .....the thing about your concept of a true God is that it's an idol of your own making. We cannot create our realities. There is the true God and yes, He IS love, but He is Holy and Just too.

True religion is loving Him and our neighbors, and that includes taking care of those less fortunate. Sadly, the world sees a lot of finger wagging, hard hearts, people shouting down people, political pushing, wacky and absurd theater.....my friend, the witness of man will in no way delegitimize God. Jesus Christ still died on the cross to save whosoever shall come to Him to receive forgiveness of sins. That is God's love and mercy for you and I. Please consider this seriously. Millions of people are walking around relying on "what works for them.".....again, we cannot create our own realities. You rightly know that there is a Being that created and controls the universe. His name is Jesus Christ, the express image of God the Father. But you have to get past that hurdle that keeps many from coming to Him, and that is the issue of sin....

I am not better than you, no. I am a sinner saved by the amazing grace and mercy poured out on the Christ on the cross and I just want you to know that through His love, this mercy and grace is available to you too!

@ANewCovenant but I must appreciate your patience and your civilised manner even when I criticized your religion. I faced same objection from Indian Hindus when I told them I was agnostic. Unlike you, they used abusive language and threats towards.

@JBird I'm sorry for what you endured when you spoke with the Hindu people. Just know that believing what I know in my heart to be true, I could never speak evil against you because I care so much about you. I respect that you don't believe this, but I'm nothing special, just a simple conduit for God to express His longing for you :) Thank you again for talking with me. i totally agree with you. this particular man is a true god. or not... god-man, perhaps. or god in man. no. if god is in man, then that man is not god.

I'm confused. christianity is too complicated for me.
