I Am Agnostic

"How could anybody know this?" --> Just as a child is able to know exactly where his/her father kept his handgun, because he/she was informed by the father, & a fellow stranger is not able to know this, so also is a christian able to know this, because he/she has a relationship with His Father. The Christian knows his/her Father in Heaven & God knows those who are His too. Those who have shit their heart from understanding will not know this; and though un all acruality they have knowledge of this truth, they never know it because they count it ludicrous always.

There is but one God - despite the numerous idols which are the works of man's heart- and as such there is no definition.
Jehovah; the alpha & the omega; He is the I AM. Creator of all.

Numerous questions you have but for homing a partial heart, you never

Goodday, ma'am. You are indeed mot forgotten (pun intended. Lol. I hope you're having a lovely day!Beautiful one today, is it not?)
You have spoken truth in what you've said - that agnostics maintain that all don't & can't know the truth of God; but how is that die a fair throw if, rather than researching both sides of the court - atheistic & theistic - they choose to relax on the fence instead?? Even all of creation - let alone the human body ALONE - displays evidently that there indeed is a creator; and this creator makes this knowledge known that we might seek Him whole-heartedly. How is that correspondent with agnostism?
And when judgement comes, will the agnostics not be cast into hell, just as every unbeliever, because they have not been saved by grace through faith??

I hope you see now, ma'am, that hanging on the fence rather than performing unbiased research of truth, analysing & comparing the reports of all sides - of different religions & the unbelieving side too - impartially, really is just condemning the soul.

.

I assure you, ma'am, that I do not speak based on "just one specific church"; that would be highly hypocritical of me, and for that, surely, no truth resides in me. I have done my research - unbiased/impartial - and I have come to realise that indeed, there is no god but God; Jehovah almighty; the I AM. He is the creator of all things.

Yet you suggest I'm the illogical one, sir?

Christianity is not a releigion, as you and others have so come to define it this day; it is a relationship between God and man, just as a earthly father and child have a loving relationship. But how would you come to understand seeing that you do not want to see come to understand/see how it is even so. I cannot explain any further. Can one understand truly, the intense love a married couple share for each other? Even though they observe it with their eyes, it cannot be fully measured, can it?

In our striving - and I use that term loosely - to do good, we do more evil than good; and we are well aware of this, because we have the knowledge of good and evil; our hearts are equally corrupt (a child is not taught how to lie before he knows to lie but he has to be taught good. Even with knowledge of this, yet you say that God and His addressing us to live according to His word, which is perfect, is a lie, but rather, we and everything just happened 'by chance'.
With due resoect, sir, it is you who should come to see reasoning. There is a reason for/behind everything.

I beg to speak directly to you...In my understanding...Agnostic as I see it...means we don't know or cant know the full truth of God...
you definitely BELIEVE there is a God- AS DO I ...perhaps for a moment you should pause and think about religion...WHICH is where I have personal problems.
Your references and remarks seems to be from one specific "church"...I personally feel a person can EXPLORE other paths...and remain steadfast in one's belief. In other words...don't fight against the outcry that there is not a God-explore a path With God...

Or perhaps you should just forget the idea of a religion and find within yourself the urge to do good, to empathize and feel and do you best to live a good life?

I'm just waiting for the day the psychological mainstream recognizes belief in a supernatural god or goddess to be a mental problem.

Be happy with your delusion. Yes, I have "created" -- everything from music and art to piles of dung, but I see no need to claim there is anything supernatural or supra-scientific about it. I gtotally understand the need of human beings to fins something beyond themselves to blame things on, I just chose not to be that weak.

You choose to find the thought of a creator, and you a creation, as appalling and mightily absurd, yet you are a creator yourself, in that you have created things, no matter how little/small or much/big. Shall we continue to live in hypocrisy, dear sir?
Lincoln98 · 22-25, M
The 'meaningless' contained in it every logic; even the lesser-than-average man would know. Have a lovely day, sir.

@ Lincoln98 -- not TOO bad, but you need you work harder at saying the meaningless with conviction and logic.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Like I said, you have a mental problem -- enjoy it.
