I mean……. Ain’t like the American people could use that money for schools, healthcare, border security, roads, etc. cough. On the bright side though, it’s not goin to support a useless war.

@YourMomsSecretCrush So what I'm hearing is that you are in favor of free healthcare for all Americans if we can find the money?
@LordShadowfire I’ll take free healthcare for Americans over passing out money to the rest of the world any day of the week.

@YourMomsSecretCrush Well, that's progress, but we can't ignore suffering in the rest of the world, in my opinion.

You just want to repeat past success, building trains that carry away the shale oil or coal or whatever. It's working right now in your own region, US commuters stalled by bomb trains full of what US corporations fracked out of Canada this week. But no commuter trains worth riding! Utter and complete dictatorship. Watch them in their cars waiting as they watch the oil go by. The USA wants Africa to have the best, like you.

You probably haven't heard about it yet, but following nearly 50 years under Chinese influence (since its independence from Portugal), Congo is opening up to the US.
This could be very beneficial to both countries.

@TrashCat That money for the African Union very likely pales in comparison to how much China has invested in nations on the continent.

@specman Yeah, well, the government you voted in is objectively worse. I'm not even going to bother explaining why, because you'll see it soon enough.
