I Had An Abusive, Alcoholic Father

When I was younger, every night my dad would come home drunk and every night him and my mum would argue. Then he started to drink even more and would get even more mad. He would hit my mum and tell her she was useless. Sometimes he would come up to our rooms and shout at us. If we said anything back he'd hit us and if we stayed quiet he'd hit us. My mum was too scared to tell someone but eventually he got arrested for stabbing someone when he was drunk. He's getting out soon though.

my dad wasn't that bad, but he was ex military and had a series of violent outbursts, attacked and threatened to kill my mother and sister, and watched porn in my sisters room while she was sleeping. (the porn thing is what my mother says, i don't know if that's actually true though.) we lived in military housing at the time, and since my dad was ex military the military refused to do anything, eventually my mother had to file for a divorce to get out because the state wouldn't let her leave.
