Despite my age I’m a recovering alcoholic…

Anyone want to be accountability/discipline partners? Nothing too intense but checking in…

My friend's dayghter Jessica is finally in treatment. I took her in to the ER. She was downing a fifth of vodka a day and unable to drink water. You need to get off the sauce or it will destroy you. Fortunately she still has her dog. She loves Samson so much. It's all she has left. Lost her job, boy friend, friends, and apartment. Had to move to Fargo. She seems pretty committed now. I guess we'll have to wait and see. What do you need to stay sober?

@Tastyfrzz im sorry it’s so hard and it’s a bit like with teens they don’t expect it.

@Jennster Jessica is 30. She's been fight it since her teens. Her mom, my friend, was also an alcoholic. She was sober when I knew her. Jessica stayed with me for a while after her mom died. She hid her drinking.

@Tastyfrzz I did the same - I managed to hide it from my step-dad really really well

@Jennster ok, so now can you work equally as hard at staying sober?

@Tastyfrzz I’m trying - thinking of famous people who managed to quit
