They kill themselves the same way anyone self destructive does. By escaping til they dissappear for good.
Whether we do it through pills, food, adrenaline thrills, razors, etc is indvidual.
The principle is the same. It has a soothing effect and the more you do it the more you have to increase your the dosage in order to get that sense of relief you're after.
It's a freedom from your own demons. Low self respect, low self confidence, low self esteem leads to low coping strategies, often destructive ones.
