I Am the Child of An Alcoholic

my dad is an alcoholic. it is NOT fun being put through hell at times. i’m happy he doesn’t get mean every time he drinks, just when he’s had too much and it depends on what he’s drinking,
how bad it gets, but it’s gotten pretty bad
several times. it sucks. i just wanna protect my sister from all things bad, even try protecting her from him and the ugliness that sometimes comes from him being so drunk. she doesn’t deserve any of it.
