I Am An Alcoholic

I have been sober for 7 days and 22 hours now...today, at this moment I am having one of my most strongest urges to go get a drink.. For those of You that understand, Can you please give me some encouragement to stay strong at this moment?

I know how strong the urge can be and how your mind will try to deceive you into thinking that it's going to make everything better to have a drink.. but it's never just a drink it's the beginning of the downward spiral. Stay strong, resist the urge and eventually it will pass.
