I Am a Member of Alcoholics Anonymous

My first girlfriend ended up going to the wonderful AA I can't think of a worse organisation/cult/religion in my life, they destroyed our relationship and convinced her she had major problems when she didn't and took control of her life when she was at a low point like all dirty disgusting cults religions that prey on the weak at any time.
She didn't really have a problem till she started to go then she had the problem it was AA that was the problem.
They told her so much lies and rubbish that in the end she believed them.
DO NOT EVER GET INVOLVED WITH THIS CULT RELIGION.

Didn't know you had AA over there and yes I believe it is a cult. My father was a member in his later years...he would spout all of those sayings and stuff but his real problem wasn't drinking it was his mental and personality problems. I think he stayed with it because it was a way to make friends, but with his personality he burned most of them quickly. In the end he met up with some ex-druggies at an AA and they took him in to "care" for him but were actually getting most of his retirement money and letting him have enough for basic expenses. When he died they abandoned his body at a morgue and refused to bury him.

I'm sorry to hear that, truly I never heard anything good if AA only how sick and twisted it is.always easy hit the weak willed and vulnerable like all cults and strong religions as so easy control them.

@Sulusuwakis: Not saying all people, but there are a lot of sick & twisted members too that will take advantage of the ones who are not. My father is one of them and he bragged about things that he did to other members...he would also get men stirred up against the women and all kinds of crap like that. He would move around to different states and when he burned out all his friends he would move again to another area.

I don't think he got everything coming to him while he was living, let's just put it that way. I could write a fat book about the things that I know he did (and never got punished for) and I bet there'd be a lot more to write if I only knew what he had done in those other places he lived. He murdered my mom when I was 12 and got by with it, never confessed to anyone till he was old. He did a lot of horrible things to good and simple people and I was always so ashamed to say he was my father.

Sadly bad people do so much they get away so much most only get caught about 5 percent what they have done

He got arrested three times that I know of but they let him out of jail with no charges. We had to move to another state one time because of something violent he did.

Yes it's sad they get away so much

@Sulusuwakis: He was a genius as far as getting away with things, an evil genius. If he had used that for something good he would have been wealthy.

It's sad isn't it that people can't see that themselves
