I’ve come off Lexapro successfully a couple of times now, and celexa way prior to that.

Brain zaps, feeling a bit off, and crying jags happen when going too quickly. 😔

Are you working with your doctor?

@WaryWitchWandering Yes, and have been for about a year. I've been on it for over twenty years, and have heard it's harder to get off than heroin. There are lots of informational resources, but it's just exhausting having to do this myself. I'm sick and need a caretaker. The stress about finding help makes it much worse.

@littlebirdzeep can your doctor set you up with some sort of at home outpatient care… I am sure it’s way more difficult to come off if you’ve been on it for so long

❤️I hope you start evening out soon and can find some peace

sorry to hear that
