I’m thinking about building an 8-bit computer with a 6502. I’m just starting to brainstorm about the design. Any suggestions or advice? [I Love Drugs]

There are kits out there?, that's all my advice *laughs*.

@Alison There are, but designing it is almost the whole point.

@SW-User Fair Fair, goin do the OS as well?

@SW-User I hear that but the kits are still kinda cool to think about just to get the parts and then taylor it. It seems half the time getting a kit for even just half the parts makes money sense.

@Alison I’m probably just going to have it boot into BASIC.

@MethDozer That’s true. Maybe I can riff off a kit.

I kind of also want to have a hardware interface to manual set and read memory addresses like in the Altair 8800. That shit is AMAZING. I don’t really know how much work would have go into it or how much space it would take, though. It might not make sense for this project.

@SW-User Space isn't too much an issue if you use surface mount as much as possible.
