So based on how you all talk here…Americans - do you consider fireman to be socialism?
Based on the fact your taxes pay for them, they help other people and their trucks are painted the same colour as a Chinese flag?

A traditional socialist concept in that it's the "state" providing services for all. Not like the good old days when competing fire companies would brawl with each other while buildings burned because they'd send a bill to the burning building's owner or wouldn't put out the fire.
