Similar worlds format.

This format on this site is really confusing, I swear I haven't seen anyone that enjoys not being able to follow their feed in chronological order (like what makes sense). What gives?

This started happening since they made improvements, I hate it when I hit the back button and I can’t go back to a post that I had seen before and wanted to respond to.

@cherokeepatti Yes, that's the biggest problem. A reload of the start page will always lead to a totally different feed (if you can call it a feed at all, it's more like a random selection of recent and not-so-recent posts).

There was an explanation at one point. It had to do with keeping trolls from spamming the feeds or something. It also has something to do with who and what you vomment on most frequently because that is what I see most of. Also the more people I follow the more I see.

Lot's have complained repeatedly to no avail.

On EP, separately from the general feed, you could see in one place everything people you were following had said, in chronological order. I have lost count of the number of times I have asked the SW management to provide the same here, but I have never even received a reply.

@helenS Yes, here too. But in my day civil servants were usually good at producing plausible, albeit often spurious, reasons for their decisions.

And you can't even restrict your feed to the people you follow. EP had way better feeds, and they were just basic.

@candycane it would be nice to have answers from the proprietors..... especially if they Fancy having pride in their website.

@candycane I think that they have put a lot of work on this interface, yet their own patronage is unhappy with it, and they should, as proprietors, at least address their shortcomings, instead of childishly "punishing" those who would request better
