I'd Rather Get To Know You Than Small Talk

I'm not much for questions like "Wyd?" or "What do you do for work?" or "What do you do for fun?"

I'd rather we talk about our favorite books, what songs speak to us, what we want most out of life, etc.

Small talk is about as boring as it gets. 🙄

I would agree in a real world conversation but online it is so hard to hold a worth while conversation How was your day? Is about as deep as it gets.

@RoxClymer Not true at all. Online is way easier to keep a deep convo going, because all you have are these deep questions. "Wyd?" is such a dead end question online, because after they tell you what they are doing, it kinda goes nowhere unless you start digging deeper.

But small talk is small opening question that help you dig deeper and get to know them, the last thing I want to discuss with a complete stranger is something like the "last three years of Buddha's life" or what did Jackson Pollock mean when he paint..."

It's kind of odd for a single guy to talk to a married woman anyway, so not a big loss.
