You won't be able to gossip if SW malfunctions.. 🤭 Pretty much everyday at work now, but it is its own special place, as the place is closing and those working together suddenly see.... we only have a small-time together to truly appreciate this together.
Gossip can be good and bad, I veer away; the rumour mill almost always false, but I'm learning a new appreciation.

I have kinda accepted the rumour mill exists, and it does, I try in my way to make it as heard, appreciated, and I even hear the negatives, of course I hear them with what's going on. I feel I'm fortunate, many I work with are close to retirement, they've learned the tact to dealing with people, and it's their fortune the place is closing. Without the rumour mill, I would have not learned as much.....
I'm not one for gossip. But as long as I stay objective, with knowledge people are who they are, I'm letting some in as I trust myself to not only read between lines, hear their stories, but also to let myself become attached to those I'm with daily.
It's how they know you listen. But I have felt that moment, if you say this about this person, what do you say about me?
I just try to engage conversation now, and if things come to where I question, I'm keen on giving my view that somewhere I love people and rest within there?

@drair I respect this and it can be so very trying, I really feel also we find our best when listening to people.... I think thats what you mean. I feel unfortunate, too, and it takes all of me to put that part aside, just to really listen..

But sometimes it's not necessary
Really not worth of our time
You can't always just give tht much energy in vain
