Exercise only thing works for me. Anti inflammatory drugs or rubs help a bit but you have got to release the muscle trapping the nerve.
Looks up sciatic exercises. I do mine daily in my exercise routine. Mostly the pain stays away although the pins and needles and numbness are permanently there to some degree

@SW-User keep going they took probably 9 months to get mine to the current level and keep it there.

@SW-User I've had mine over 5 essentially it may never go of it has been crushed/caught a certain way. But the exercises make it bearable most of the time
