What makes you happy ? [I Dont Like Small Talk]

@thepreposterouspanda Not even cute kitten and puppy videos? The smell of rain in the air or fresh coffee in the morning?

@InvictusIndigo I enjoy them, but it's all kind of ruined by chronic pain. 😅 I've had leg cramps now for 11 years and it's getting tedious.

@thepreposterouspanda Oh shoot I'm sorry :/ what helps with chronic pain? What is it caused by?

@InvictusIndigo I've got lesions covering the white matter of my brain. Also had a broken hip for seven months in 2011 that had to be replaced when I was 23. On top of it all, the toes on my left foot clawed when I got sick in 2010, so they've been in a perma-cramp since then. 😬

I use cannabis to help with the pain, but it only does so much, and no matter how much I exercise, hydrate, and eat well, it doesn't seem to do much. It's just so frustrating.

@thepreposterouspanda I'm not even gonna pretend that I know what that's like. That sounds hard af and I can only begin to imagine how that can make life seem void of happiness. Like what can anyone say or do that can make anything easier for you?

@InvictusIndigo It's tough going for sure hahaha. On one hand, I'm kind of used to it, ya know? It's been going on for so long, but on the other hand, it's weird. Just kinda feels like my reality stepped off the normal path and has been spiraling out since then.

There are definitely good days and bad days, but it's just so unpredictable. :)

@thepreposterouspanda Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but the fact that you put a smile at the end of that speaks volumes about you. Even when reality seems to be spiraling out of control for years you still have the heart to smile. Few people have that resolve and strength. You're pretty great 😊
