@Ceinwyn The us-vs-them syndrome is not limited to 'social media'. Would that it were so! Having to 'take sides' about anything & everything seems like a universal preoccupation. Say you're neutral or undecided about anything and you get mocked for 'sitting on the fence.' I think of Bush's "You're with us or you're against us". We see the ultimate result from this kind of 'thinking' right now in Ukraine. Whichever nationality you declare yourself to be - Russian or Ukrainian - can decide whether you get murdered.
