People are so fickle

As I've stated before, I'm trying to get a more booming social life.

I use bumble bff the friend-making side of the app.

We chatted for about a week, hung out once (it went great), I offered a few other outings we could go to this month. She asked for the info so I sent it in a text.

1 day passed
2 days passed- I asked if she was able to view the info

Her: "Oh sorry, work has been really busy, I'll look at it when I get off"

Today makes day 3.

I wont text her again.

When we spoke while we were in person, she told me she works from home, has plenty of down time and sometimes gets off work early when things aren't busy.

Why do people give the runaround?

I almost feel like I should stop being honest with people.

Maybe I should just lie and tell them everything they want to hear🤷🏾‍♀️

"Yea I have tons of friends already, I love my job, I love everything about my life and everything is just great"!

It seems like if you don't have a friend circle for them to join, they don't want anything to do with you.

I have plenty of things that I do, I'm NOT a homebody.

IDK, I do not understand making new friends as an adult.

Not really looking for suggestions, just people to listen.
I've tried everything as far as making friends go

I've heard from her since this was posted

It’s definitely harder to make friends as an adult. There are even mom cliques if u can believe that. Like the moms of your kids, friends. They will not want to get to know you unless you know one of their friends.
