They might not remember it every day but one day when they need to remember it the most, they will. The most important thing is, what was the real purpose of the kindness you extended. Was it for them to remember it or for you to feel that you made a little difference in someone's life regardless of if they remembered it or not.

@FlutteringWordsSA I did the the things I did because I knew they were the right things to do. I didn’t have to be asked.
And I hoped that as a group of people in a difficult environment people would start to look out for each other as group and we could help each other through difficult situations. But no it’s just me, always me doing the heavy lifting.
