Why do people ask you to be kind? It’s not like they remember you for it.

They might not remember what you said or did but they will remember how you made them feel.

@WanderingSavage allowing yourself to be taken advantage of is not the same as being kind.

My refusal to be exploited is certainly being perceived as being unkind.
