Most breast milk espressed in a day...

There isn't a specific Guinness World Record for breast milk expressed in a single day, but Elisabeth Anderson-Sierra, who has hyperlactation syndrome, produces approximately 225 ounces (about 6.7 liters) daily, and has donated enough milk to be recognized by Guinness World Records for her total donation.

Must be quite draining.

@MommaBear almist a gallon a day extra?! You must have been chugging liquids.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Tastyfrzz a gallon is 128 oz I was making almost a half gallon extra on top of whatever baby ate.. but I had a natural over supply and needed a lot of water for sure lol

I filled 2 deep freezers full by the time I was able to wean my over supply to just what baby ate

MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Fieldmaster I only pumped for relief from engorgement baby didn’t take bottles until May when I stopped breastfeeding
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Teslin as thankful as I was for my oversupply it was also torture… so painful and constant clogged ducts and mastitis

@MommaBear As a man, I can only imagine !!!
Thankfully you could save it. But it sounds like you could feed triplets!!
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Teslin I donated a lot too I definitely could’ve fed at least twins
Teslin · M
@MommaBear I'm just glad it didn't go to waste.
MommaBear · 26-30, F
@Teslin me too I still have enough frozen to last until probably January
Fieldmaster · 46-50, M
@MommaBear Oh okay! I am a strong believer in baby getting mother's milk whichever it happens, bottle or directly. I have seen miracles happen.
JustJen · 36-40, F
@MommaBear You could have sold it to pervs and made a lot of money..lol

@Fieldmaster She can buy her baby all kinds of good stuff with that money. Besides, I was joking. You can tell when people are joking by the "lol". That means "Laughing Out Loud". It is brand new but you might catch on eventually.

@JustJen Right!!!

@MommaBear

Why stop ?
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@MommaBear what was causing the mastitis? Did you loose a lot of weight? The calcium must have been leeching out of your bones???
