In two months I've had 4 SARS-CoV-2 tests (1 of them was rapid), plus an antibody test for it.

And every time it got back negative. So much for the "false positive" conspiracies 😪

Playing Devil’s Advocate, in Singapore the first batch of tests did generate false positives, but as they adapted and more info came in about the disease the later tests were more accurate. There are still isolated cases of false positives but less than before.

@Longpatrol there are always false positives BUT also false negatives. That applies to every test ever. I understand some people have doubts but conspiracists are taking things too far.

@HannibalAteMeOut So far given that Singapore has one of the best medical systems in Asia, I’m confident in their ability to catch false negatives in time for it to have a very limited impact on the population. I get your point though 🙂

There are cases of both falsely positive and falsely negative tests, the question is how frequently something like that happens. My guess is it's not that common.

@CrazyMusicLover I'd think the same

Trump said covid would suddenly disappear in the summer. All these cases now are a hoax. Wake up sheeple

@deadgerbil yeah but only if you put the sunlight INSIDE your body
I’m glad you’re healthy

👀 people just don’t wanna take the test and then be told “you do have all these stds tho..” and have their wives and girlfriends look at them strangely.. 👀

@AuRevoir when you find chlamydia up your nose that's when you know it's serious 😪 until then keep on sexing

@Sheer the rapid test I did because our National Public Health Organization was in my neighborhood collecting random samples so I said why not. The antibody test was for my University's research. Two of the tests I did because I'm a nursing student and I had to get tested in two hospitals before I started my clinical practice there. And one test was because one of our patients I came in contact with turned out positive. So all of these tests were for free, of course.
