The best thing about retirement

So far for me is the luxury of not having to rise at 4 am to prepare for work.
I done that since 1977 I became thoroughly sick of it which is why I chose early retirement.

Like you i was in the habit of getting up at 4am to go to work. (But for different reasons to do with european and US office hours) 5 years on and I still wake up at that time and decide if I will get up yet or not..😷

@DeWayfarer One reason I would never abide casual work. Waiting around for a phone call.
How could one plan ahead?

There's technically no difference what time you wake up, but waking up early does feel bad for some reason lol
