Assisted my dear wife who lacks mobility while she waits for a hip replacement, cooked all the dinners, made all the lunches and breakfasts, did all the washing up, helped look after the grandchildren on a few days while mum was out working, had a ten-mile walk with an old mate who has recently lost his wife to cancer, walked into town every day and had a coffee in McDonalds where I posted a load of waffle on SW, did the shopping afterwards, also a bit of shopping for a less moble resident where we live, did my weekly 4 hour stint on the tills at Oxfam, read a few more books, received a call from BT to arrange my new contract (totally boring but managed to remain polite throughout) and also coped quite well with my own mental health issues. I think that is about it. (Oh, recycled a load of stuff for ourselves and also for a lady who can barely walk)

I started on my 4th mural panel. Not sure where I'm going with it. Any suggestions?

@DogMan You have to paint whatever you feel. Even abstract art can be interpreted and move people. Something I would do, though: As you get farther away from the sunset, I would start sprinkling in stars against a darker shade of blue. I would also show that in the reflection. It'll show that transition from day to night, and something about that relaxes me. It looks great. Keep going!

@Eoghan That's a great idea. I did darken the sky from what it originally was, but I agree it could be darker in the distance. I saw someone on you tube use a toothbrush to flick the paint on to make stars. I might try that.
I'm also going to put some more detail in the mountains, they look a little plain. Then
more close trees over the lake, with some shadows, and maybe a waterfall. I'm going
there on Saturday, I'll post another pic next week. I started painting a couple months ago,
I'm having fun learning, and getting better, I have yet to look at something and paint it.
I just start laying down colors, and see how it develops. I think I must have at least three
layers of paint on that panel ☺️

Nothing special other than writing and delivering a eulogy at a memorial service.
