I have to be entirely honest I was raised by an Atheist and a Jehovah's Witness and my dad kind of imparted scientific skepticism in me but my mother and her desire to fit in with the witnesses created a childhood where I was denied many things because the witnesses would have disapproved like the magic the card game and it lead to a backlash where I played around with being a Warlock myself and about 8 or so years ago dumped the whole bottle of Come to me oil on a red come to me candle putting the intention out there for a new lover and shes been with me since a few weeks after I did the spell in the midst of a full moon and honestly I'm not entirely sure what I believe because When I mess around with candles things seem to happen.

I've had a similar experience and feel like it's not a coincidence @BetweenKittensandRiots
@Witchthatwantsfun for me recently what's inspired the change of heart is seeing social media flooded with christian propaganda and the fact they they don't listenn.

the ideology is still every bit as uncompromiksing as it was when this all began.

See my biggest issue with xtianity is that it isn't just a religion it's a world view as well.

So when you wiccans say that you don't "literrally worship the devil." The christian response is "haha honey satan mascarades as many things and disguises himself in his many forms"

and So to the Evangelicals litterally eerything in the "not jesus" camp is litterally Satan. There's nothing that isn't jesus, us, and Satan to them.

This is a worldview that was never prepared for or even anticipated having to share the world with other perspectives and when I see them congregating online it gets increasingly more evident that that's exactly what's going on- They never even planned for religious pluralism just theocracy theocracy theocracy and so I finally started openly admitting I liked to play around with candles and call down powers because it was just ...

Fuck them?

like your god can't play nice with other gods?

I don't have a problem being considered a devil worshipper under evangelical ideology. you shouldn't either.
