@Kstrong His trade in Germany before coming to the US was a Shoe cobbler, and he carried on with it in the US even after taking a job on the railroad..

@WillaKissing sadly, a cobbler is a slowly dying trade. I'm glad he brought his trade to the US. Did he train anyone to take over?
