@Jayciedubb I will be posting more in the future. I like people who take care of their kids. I never had that growing up so it means a lot to me.

I know the feeling about nonexistent parents. ..or abusive and neglectful parents are what I had.
I only learned what not to do from my parents. A lot of the rest was a white knuckle, hold on and hope for the best kind of experience There's a lot I wish i could do over. My other son, Jake's twin, he's got a lot of resentment towards me. I'm sure i deserve some of it but i think most of it comes from misunderstandings that had gone unnoticed by me and unmentioned by him. That likelihood causes me to tapdance around him now, trying to dispell any current unmentioned misunderstandings, which is causing him to lose respect for me, I can tell. The only thing I can think to do about it is nothing and let him figure it out on his own one day and be here for him when he does.
