I never understood how this didn't get every bit as big as Metallica at the time, or maybe it did and I just didn't realize; I understand since then that Metallica inched towards the mainstream with each successive record after Master of Puppets, and some would even say that was the starting point; Peace Sells is DEFINITIVE metal at its best, HAS TO BE TOP 3 All-Time.....
@SilkandLace2 you answered your own question bud. No matter what albums were released in 1986, they were ALL destined to be overshadowed by Puppets, which was an amazing record after all. But I do agree, Peace Sells should've been bigger than it was. The closing track alone is a fucking MASTERPIECE from start to finish.
