@Justme264 These are harmless Blue Tongue Lizards. Very prevalent all over Australia.
Every time I venture into the bush, I come across these critters.

@Justme264 They can be very difficult to see amongst the leaf litter. Many a time I have almost stepped on one walking through the bush.
