For the longest time, Darius hasn't[/i]t stepped feet home, and it was about time to change that. Home to Darius was wherever his master was at, he represents what he venerates and respects the most. You see, unlike a huge part of his vampire brothers he never dares to question his master's decisions, despise having or not second thoughts. Some call him a fool, the master's lap dog, and Darius revides by remaining this loyal to the one and only. Taking this time away from home and his master was all due to a need to clear his mind, and create a gap between himself and Marcus' other children, not all of them, but the few that mistreated the master. He's not one to get in the middle and snap, but it got under his nerves some actions from them, the ones who had this chance at living forever thanks to him. How dare they spit on his hand? To Darius those kind of attitudes were intolerable and unacceptable.

His mind flashes memories from his human past, and he can't avoid recalling how it all started. "Darius, you can live forever. I can offer you that, if you want. You just have to say yes." Darius gazes up at his best friend, the one who somehow has always been there, watching him from the distance. Approching him slowly, until they became friends. And he remembers his parents reactions of when he told them about this friend of his, they thought he had an imaginary friend. It was amazing the way Darius grew from a child, to a young boy and then to a man, and his special friend always looked the same. It was like aging didn't have any side effect on him. Thinking back about it, what he appreciates the most on Marcus is that he never lied to him, cause at a certain point he told Darius what he was, why he never aged. He was the brother Darius never had, and the fact that he was a vampire didn’t bother him. "One day I'll take that offer." Was his answer from back in the days, which made him smile like a fool at that memory as he was walking down the street towards his destination.

Darius was so deeply dwelled into the memories of his past, that at first he didn't recognize that girl walking on the street right away, who was someone he meet in the past. He blinks and when he's this close to her he dares to talk to the girl. "Alex..." He called her out, setting his hand on her shoulder and gazing down at her. Just like any other human being she has aged, but she remained so beautiful. "What a nice sight for sore eyes." He added, greeting her with a natural seductive grin of his. He thought about inviting her for a drink to catch up, he had to see his master but maybe having a drrink with her first wouldn't hurt, would it? If she recognizes him, that is.
