Do you ever get nervous about going to work?

I always feel a little uneasy about going to work, where I work now is my 3rd job but I hope someday I get used to it.

Maybe once I graduate and get my dream job it will be less intimidating. Though, this job is definetely better than the last job that I've had. Lately, most of my discomfort is because work is a bit harder during these tough times with covid. I want to do my best and I worry about failing.

Depends on the job really. I hated working with customers a lot of the time because you'd get people who were really difficult and 40-50+ year old babies sometimes. Sometimes it was alright, just depends I guess.

@MissMoon That's okay, well at least in fast food people don't really ask you lots of things 😌 I worked in a hardware place and people would get angry if I didn't know super specific things that they didn't know either (even though they were twice or thrice my age) lol.

@Ryannnnnn Oof, yeah I'd struggle working in a hardware shop 😂 I think its unfair people would get angry over such things, hard to know everything

@MissMoon Oh god you wouldn't believe, its part of why I quit and went to university haha.

It's normal for some people to feel nervous for initial few weeks

i did when i worked serving the public popcorn and the like at the movies as a teenager. as an introvert, i prefer to work in solitude, rarely interacting with superiors or the public. i would feel the same way you do about covid making it more stressful, if i didn't work from home. i'm sure you're doing a good job, though, because you care.

It takes me about a year to fully feel comfortable at any job.

@DearAmbellina2113 My current job I've only been at for a few months but for a long time my work was closed due to lockdown. I hope I get comfortable soon. Coworkers can sometimes tell I'm nervous I think 😅

When I first start something new, yes.
I hate the uncertainty involved with it, but I eventually ease into it.
