I believe that's our most natural and healthy desire, the only reason we ever let go of it is how much we get hurt and damaged and corrupted by the process of seeking that and being deceived or let down or disappointed in some sort of way over and over until some of us just give up on what's really good.

I got hurt pretty badly recently, and I still want all those things deeply, it just takes a little while to be ready to try again.
