Hoods On Youtube
I like to watch ridealong vids on YouTube, especially when the driver rides through "bad" neighborhoods.
I've noticed the worst looking hoods are in the southern states. They look like 3rd world countries!!! Trash everywhere, people fighting, stray dogs wandering around. The hoods in northern states don't even look all that bad, just poor.
I used to live in what was called a "bad" neighborhood in Tennessee, but I never had any problems from anyone when I lived there. Everyone was kind, helpful, and I never felt unsafe as a single woman alone. I think a lot of people see a poor working class neighborhood and automatically assume "BAD". 🤔
