I Am A Single Female Looking Forcfun Couples Or Single Males

Today at work somebody told me they are fed up of late shifts, I replied that I too had many late shifts and didn't like them. They then went on to say well yes but some peoples situations are different, I have a boyfriend who I dont get to see, it was a obvious dig at me being single, but why should someone whose in a relationship take priority over having better shifts? what does she think single people people to do with their time? Heaven forbid they actually have a life.

I remember one Christmas being told I have to work because the other person had young kids. Ours were teens at the time so it was understood they would understand. So there are all kind of "special" priorities in the workplace.

If she don't like it I am sure that the boss can replace her

You are automatically a second class citizen if you are single

Shift work sucks , plays havoc with life sleep patterns and socially as well, being in a relationship doesn't give you extra rites if she doesn't like it well she should go somewhere else, people need to think about military personnel on deployments and the amount of time they spend away from love one, just my 2 cents worth.

There is inevitably somebody in an office situation who's life is supposedly more valid than anyone else's.

What's worse is when management validates and perpetuates this!
