I Write Whatever I Want To Write

I used to stand at the banks of the big river
and yell at God.
I wasn't angry
I was confused.
My good friend took several tours
in Vietnam
and choked on his vomit
as a homeless man.
The Irish flu took my sister too
I'm just confused
I hope we can come to terms
some day.

Is this true?
@Tastyfrzz He doesn't lie.
@Tastyfrzz Yes. That would Mount Vernon Washington on the Skagit River. The man who choked on his vomit was called "Oracle Bill" and it was 1999.

My sister died of drink last Christmas eve.

I've been to Mount Vernon. Took classes at King Arthur
@Tastyfrzz I lived too close to the Skagit! When we got the 'pineapple express' rains, the house would flood sometimes! I even lived at the Casa Grande tenements for a while! They were infamous! The nasty drug slum next to the bus station?
@Tastyfrzz Baking?

@puck61 I stayed at the quality inn by the Walmart. Nice little Chinese restaurant on the corner. Fortune Mandarin

@puck61 went to the Trainwreck a few times.

@puck61 yes, learned to make croissants and sourdough...
@Tastyfrzz I was at the bottom of the economic pecking order! I worked at Pacific Circuits, and a warehouse that had nothing but bused in migrants. The hours were long, but all I did was take 'load sheets' from the fax machine to the workers. I translated, and had to be the convenient snitch and ax man! If something was amiss, I would simply walk them to the clock and take their card and ask them to punch out and leave. That part really sucked.
