I Want To Write My Random Thoughts And Feelings

Hmm, it's hard to know what to write about when you don't care for other people's approval or saying controversial things just for attention and likes. I had this problem on another blogging website I was on. I eventually get to the point where I run out of things to blog about, and it soon becomes obvious to me that my style of writing isn't tailored for these kind of sites at all. I've no interest in meaningless dialogue or pointlessly telling the world what I did during the day or what I had for dinner last night. I don't know how you guys do it, I really don't. Well, I do - I just can't relate to it.

As I said in a previous post, if we're not here to try and put a dent in the universe with our unique perspectives, then what is it we're really doing? I'm not bored enough to be here, I think. I'll stick around, as it's no better anywhere else on the internet. This just seems to be a modern phenomena more than anything.

Unique perspectives can be said in any number of ways including the banal, when people are known better you can appreciate what happens better, from a distance, from detached observance, then one can by sensing being peculiar, as a blessing in let us say, using the site more casually, and not reacting and contributing as frequently with a feeling of pure ok-ness about it.

Making a difference in our world may not be immediate with our initial words, but with how one is as a person. There are lots of people, i just know that are great here, even though i hardly communicate with others.

So yeah, stick around, keep enriching the community i plan to also, and with a bit more forethought into what i say, make it more meaningful, for then it means more and the time feels less wasted and i can sign off feeling like i just had a nice nap and stuff :)

Ah, now we are on the same page. I use it for entertainment purposes. And to speak my mind. And to learn about others, like you. To discover why you think as you do.

This just happens to be the first time I have seen you here, and came across what seemed to be whiny piece. Lots of whiners here.

I'm sure that your stories aren't all the same.

Neither are mine.

Sorry if I sounded harsh. There are a lot of naysayers here, whose sole purpose seems to be to tear this place down because it isn't EP.

My answer is always the same, if you aren't happy with what you are doing, do something different.

Its the reason I am never bored, never lonely. I am always busy.

I don't need you to be impressed with "my intellect", so not sure what you're getting at there. Odd that you felt the need to mention it, as I don't claim to be intelligent. What I've said obviously seems to have rattled you somehow, hence the emotional tirade and projecting. Maybe the dissatisfaction and time wasting lies with yourself, as I'm perfectly fine in my own skin, whether the universe is "dented" or not. I was just making a point.

Oh I never whine. Life is actually rather good in fact. I just speak my mind, same as you. I'll stick around here because it's no better than anywhere else on the net, lord knows I've searched. And it isn't all bad. I do enjoy sublimating these thoughts of mine, if only as a soliloquy to myself. And there are at least some thoughtful people on here who use this site with meaning and purpose. It's just seldomly seen, that's all.

@Serenitree I don't sit around on the internet wasting my time - and that's precisely WHY I made this blog in the first place. That was the very point I was making. I'm saying this site is basically tailored towards those kinds of people - those who just want to alleviate their boredom by talking about bland and trivial things all day long (nothing wrong with that, it's perfectly fine). I was just making a point. I'm not bemoaning or complaining, nor judging anyone. I just speak boldly. As I say, just making a point. Just observing what I know to be true. Take a look around - not much going on in the intelligence department, is there? But that's ok. It's fine.

I use this site for meaningful content only - content which is demonstrably purposeful. You only have to scan through some of my posts to know I'm not here to waste time, least of all my own. Whether people are interested in intelligent dialogue is up to them. I'll continue to use this site for the purpose I believed it was designed anyway...

Your point seemed to be that you were wasting time.

It's odd that you saw my answer as an emotional tirade. Must be the tone of voice you added to it, because I am far less than emotional about it. I merely suggested that sitting around on the internet, bemoaning the fact you're here seems counter to intelligent thinking.
As for the mention of intellect, it's because this little composition is a bit pretentious, while not really helpful. It comes across as judgemental, yet you seem to be suggesting that while it's not good enough for you, you have nothing better to do
I think there are a whole lot of things a young, healthy man could be doing, even without denting anything.

No emotion here, except whatever you read into it.

I get that. Sometimes I feel a strong need to write but find I have run out of things to write about. It's like Eckhart Tolle says - the energy just stops flowing, BUT then I get in to simply "being".
Serenitree · F
Well, I can think of at least a dozen more productive ways to spend your time, than sitting around, complaining that what you are doing here is just wasting time.

Unless you are a quadriplegic, with no one to help you get out of the room where you are now, get off the computer and get out into the world, and put a dent in the universe. You won't accomplish that here. And I, for one am not impressed with your intellect as you haven't shown any.

Go. Do something important.

The rest of us will just sit here and leave the universe undented.

@Lucifer Yeah. I find that my ideas flow together better when I'm not trying so hard to materialise them.
