I Read Too Much Into Things

My kids are watching a cartoon about the Doozers, who I recall from Fraggle Rock. I loved that show as a kid in the 80's and always thought the Doozers were interesting. Why do they work so hard?
I look back now and see that the Fraggles are actually pretty awful creatures. They lay around the caves in their hippie self indulgence, carelessly consuming the surplus value created by a helot class of Doozers who work all the time. They build these lovely works of radish based engineering that are merely disposable works projects blithely consumed by indifferent Fraggles.
Interestingly, the Fraggles themselves are missing from this cartoon, so maybe this is a post revolutionary future where the Doozers finally overthrew the parasite Fraggle overlords.
Ok. Maybe it's time to send the kids outside to play. Lol.
