I am the most caring member of SW

I'm gonna start clicking-in the sad emojis, and that cute heart-holding emoji, on posts about racism, and terrible things happening to children, and sad posts about war, and such stuff. To show that I care more than others about these things.

We all know that clicking those emoji responses to posts means that a person is so caring and loving, even if in real life they are sitting around watching tv and chatting on the Internet and not doing a thing to help anybody.

I love you all! You're the best! 💙💘❤️💟💜💖🧡💛

@Coppercoil I care about it more than you! 💗💙💘❤️💜💖🧡💛

That’s not true. I post things and also volunteer weekly at the homeless shelter and soup kitchen in my area. You can do both. I do both.

@JustGoneNow You are welcome to comment in my posts any time. There are lots of volunteer workers, and people are blessed to have them. Keep up the good work!

@JustGoneNow Thanks for the tip! Next time I am in the States, I will do that with my cell phone. Please leave your good tips in any of my posts.
@uncleshawn Thank you. People matter. I always believe that. 🖤

Please ignore my posts where I show that I am most interested in deep discussions about my favorite color of sock to wear on Thursdays.

I am also extremely tolerant!

I love you so much! Don't forget it! 💟💛🧡💖💜❤️💘💙💗

@SW-User I am the Tzar of virtue signalling, by use of hearts.

small acts of kindness are not made useless by the existence of greater acts of kindness. also, clicking on a hug or a thumbs up doesn't necessarily mean you think you're better than others who didn't do it, that's disturbingly far fetched. If someone I've never talked to shares a post about a tragic event in their life I might post a hug or a heart or write one or two words. will i evite them to my place and cook supper for them and comfort them, no. but when I saw the post I felt something so I responded something. if a close friend share a tragic event with me than yes I might go out of my way to help them or if there is a wide scale tragic event going on in the world I might donate money to a cause related to this but will i join the peace corps ? no. what should people do? not click on anything because their click won't change the world?
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@reflectingmonkey I didn't get past the first 2 sentences. Listen very carefully, please....You are trying to refute an argument I did not make. In fact, this post made no argument whatsoever. Everyone with sense knows what this post means and does not mean.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
@uncleshawn i could explain in more detail but if you didn't get past the first 2 sentences of my first message I doubt you could read the explanation since it seems to have flown right over your head. maybe an emoji would have been easier to understand 👍
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@reflectingmonkey Repeat: You are trying to refute something that isn't there. The post is not anti giving hearts. The post is about a certain mindset and a certain kind of person, not about hearts. And I am approaching it with humor. Holy shmoly. Peace.

Do you also post glittery quote memes with hearts around the side tho? Because those have saved me from really dark places a couple of times

Well sure..but I don’t find it so weird. People and in particular women do the superficial validation thing in real life as well. It’s a way of fitting in in a group setting. I’m happy being an oddball on the sidelines but most people just want to feel part of something I think @uncleshawn
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@SW-User You're right. It's a good point.

I am not suggesting that hearts are inherently bad or whatever else. The idea is to paint a certain kind of picture, and then stand back and see who the most extreme examples of that picture are. They reveal themselves by attacking (which is the fun part), when no attack was made at them personally, and they block, which is great. I want to be blocked by the extreme cases of the things I post about sometimes.

The cool...and REAL...users will just joke back, and even say "Yah, I do that. ha ha". That shows they are not the extreme fake goofballs being painted. And I myself don't know who some of them are (although I do know who some are). Don't need to. They not-so-smartly reveal themselves.

And here I have revealed a secret of the trade. Don't tell anybody.

@uncleshawn Just between you and me buddy 🤫
StarLily · 51-55, F
Always knew you were.😌
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@StarLily Yah, I have a list of every SW user, and I note how many hearts they give everybody, and what kind, and what size. My problem now is my username. Maybe ShawnCaresMost.

I like that purple demon emoji one. Maybe I will try to sneak that into some hearts and see if people notice.
StarLily · 51-55, F
@uncleshawn
Okay. Mr. ShawnCaresMost🤭 I've no doubt you'll live up to your name.
uncleshawn · 41-45, M
@StarLily My next post will be about cute kittens that someone neglected or something like that.

@BluntSm0ker Every time I do one of these, I get blocks...which is good. Eventually I won't do any more because I will see only posts from users who aren't playing the goofball grade school thing.

Uzbek conquer world for good of disenfranchised squirrels!
@KaliKali she certainly cares about drugs.
@MrBlueGuy She cares about me. She’s talked me off the ledge before. She’d surprise you. People aren’t always what you think they are. Sometimes they are much more.
@JustGoneNow Very true
