I Appreciate Good People
My dinner tonight was supposedly with three people but it ended with only me and my closest friend from my old job. We had pasta that could feed four people and pizza that i wish we swapped with cake 😂 and then hot chocolate and a cheesecake!
My good friend was being sentimental lolz and had quotable quotes in our conversations
"Ikaw pa ba pagdadamutan ko"
This roughly translates to [i]i wont be selfish with you[/i] 😂 She then said that she'd be selfish to everyone except me lmao! She said this cuz i asked if i could have the whipped cream from the cheesecake.
"Youve been such a good friend, Doms, so alam mo yun, im trying to make it up to you"
She honestly doesnt have to but she wants to LMAO!
"Ikaw yung nandyan nung walang wala ako"
[i]You were there when i really had nothing[/i], and this is an exaggeration obvs but she means to say that when our job wasnt paying us well (this is why i quit yo 😂), i was by her side, like literally since the beginning and most of the time during lunch just talking about our punkass job, families (i could parallel both of our relatives' lives lol) and friends and our goals in life (Korea!!!) hahahahaahaha
However, every time i wanna hang out after work, she always says NO!!! Shes overtime queen after all 😂 but now she goes places with her work buddies (whom i miss too!) 😐 so im like, whaaaaat! You used to always deny when i asked you! 😂 But i understand that her salary has gotten better and now she wanna make it up to me cuz Ive always been generous to her 😂 like i gave her (and all my friends at work, mind you) gifts whenever i can even though i usually receive nothing from her or them but I dont mind that yo! Lmao
Im just glad she isnt as strict with herself as before. I swear shes the one of the most helpful and responsible and generous people ive ever met. Dang, i admire breadwinners and hardworking people. Im never gonna take my life for granted omg
