I Am Mourning The Loss Of My Mother

[image deleted]Today marks my departed moms birthday! I said a little prayer, wished her a happy birthday wherever she may be... As my tears burned in my eyes knowing I couldn't pick up the phone and tell her... I've come to accept that this is a part of life we all will have to experience unless we die first. Instead of feeling mournful... I'm choosing today to remember all the positive and happy things I got to share with her. Letting go for me was difficult because I never got the chance to say goodbye... Deep in my heart, I don't beleive she would want me to suffer over her! I am grateful that I had her as a friend and confidant! Not everyone appreciates their mother but without them...we would not be!
I forgive her for not being there for me when I was being violently abused by my dad. She had her hands full with 7 children! So...on this day, I pray that she is continuing her spiritual journey! Lastly...I am comforted to know that she's no longer in pain, worry or anguish!!!
I love you mom! Wherever u may be!!!!! Your daughter that misses and loves u!

Sorry for your loss. My dad's birthday is today, too and he passed away in 2011.
