I Am Disabled

My pancreas doesn’t work. I wear a pump. It pumps insulin into me every three minutes. But I have to test my blood glucose about twelve times a day. And tell my pump how much grams of carbohydrate I am about to consume. And tell it if I am about to swim or just been swimming. If I am premenstrual. It needs to know everything! It’s a hidden disability.

No offense but I’d hardly call type one diabetes a disability. My sister is a type one diabetic so I know all about it. It sounds like you are trying to play the martyr. I have an actual disability. My left arm doesn’t work and my leg hardly works. That is a true disability. Type one diabetes is just a real pain in the ass but definitely not a disability. No offense
